The Tiger Charge, Inc.

Low Water Bridge Foundation contributed to The Tiger Charge, Inc. which began in 2020, when founder Becky Carlson learned many families in the Stewartville School District had needs that had not been met. Working with Courtney Fakler and Joelle McDonald, school social workers, the organization provides funding and supplies for students and families as needs arise.

Bear Cave Estates

Low Water Bridge Foundation contributed to Al and Peggy Chihak and Bear Cave Estates, a real estate project the Chihak’s are developing on the west side of Stewartville for residential lots – both single family homes and townhome living.

Cabin Coffee

Low Water Bridge Foundation presented a check to the new Cabin Coffee owners, Kevin and Robin Splittstoesser, Tony and Leigh Dzubay and Zach and Hannah Lechner. They’re new Cabin Coffee will be opening in the Spring of 2021 for the community of Stewartville.

Vitality Villa

Low Water Bridge Foundation contributed to Vitality Villa, a wellness business in Stewartville owned and operated by Diane Brandt. In the spring of 2020, The CoronaVirus pandemic created challenges for Vitality Villa and Low Water Bridge was able to assist Diane in bridging the gap during mandated state shutdowns for health and wellness businesses.

Marybeth Hemann Fundraiser

Low Water Bridge Foundation contributed to the Marybeth Hemann Fundraiser. Marybeth (Smidt) Hemann, a Stewartville native, sustained life changing injuries in a car accident August 15, 2018. Marybeths benefit raised monies to help make her home wheelchair accessible, assist in purchasing a wheelchair accessible van and help with costs for needed medical equipment.

Sprouts Daycare & Learning Center

Stewartville Summerfest Fireworks

The Low Water Bridge Foundation was established in 2017 by Tom and Sue Slightam to assist selected local entrepreneurs with a monetary gift to off set costs in the startup phase of their new business and to encourage new business in the Stewartville area.
